Trip.com eSIM

Tap a star to rate

Trip.com built its business on flight and hotel bookings across Asia long before it added an eSIM store, and that existing user base is exactly who the eSIM feature is aimed at: rather than finishing a booking and then searching for a separate travel data app, you can add an eSIM to the same order, using an account you already have open. Coverage runs to more than 70 countries, smaller than the biggest dedicated eSIM apps but reasonably broad for the mix of countries Trip.com users tend to visit.

The eSIM itself is data-only, sold in fixed packages sized by destination, and doesn't carry the extra features found in dedicated eSIM apps, no rewards program, no bundled phone number, no zero-rated app list. What it offers instead is convenience for people already deep in the Trip.com ecosystem: one login, one payment method, one place to manage a trip's flights, hotel, and now data. It's a sensible add-on rather than a first choice for someone who isn't already using Trip.com to book the rest of their travel.
